The Anchor Shackle is our HEAVY DUTY bow shackle. It is forged out of the highest quality stainless steel and has an oversized pin (the prime area of wear and failure on a shackle). A must for those high load and wear situations, like (as the name implies) attached to anchor. Don't worry about that proverbial "weak link" being at the shackle point with this baby!
Note: Load Rated. Meets dimensions & WLL of Fed. spec's RR-C-271D, Type IV B, Class 2. 316 Stainless Steel.

Screw pin wide D shackles offer the convenience of a screw pin for quick connecting disconnecting, and a wider body for maximum mounting area. The style and Type 316 stainless steel makes it excellent for applications such as with a mooring buoy.
The forged Type 316 stainless steel contains molybdenum, which offers increased resistance to corrosion and pitting over regular Type 304 stainless steel.
If you’re using the shackle in an application where there’s a risk of losing the pin, try a captive pin shackle, which keeps the pin within the body of the shackle, even when it’s disengaged.
