How to safely removal Hex Socket Bolt

As Bailian Hardware Investigations revealed that there are many places where the hexagonal bolts are used to fix the parts on the machine.

However, due to the frequent disassembly, the hexagonal bolts of the bolts are easy to be rounded.

At this time, the slipping occurs, and it is difficult to remove them with the hex wrench.

Now Bailian provide two method of how to use and removal the bolt but without harming the parts themselves.

For the connection of the head of the hexagon socket head bolt slightly higher than or flat on the plane of the fixed part, a hexagonal nut slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the head of the hexagon socket head bolt can be placed on the hexagon socket head bolt, and then the nut and the hexagon socket head bolt The heads are welded together. After cooling, the nuts can be removed by moving the nuts.

Generally, the threaded connection is self-locking, and will not loosen when it is connected to a stationary object and the operating temperature does not change much. However, when impact, vibration or variable load effects and changes in operating temperature are large, such connections may loosen, affect work, and even cause accidents. In order to ensure a safe and reliable connection, the threaded connection must be effectively secured against loosening when installing the bolt.

Commonly used anti-loose measures are mechanical anti-loose, increased friction and non-detachable.

   (1) Using various stop parts to prevent the relative rotation of the threaded parts to achieve anti-looseness. This technique is called mechanical anti-loose and is more reliable, so it is used more. Common mechanical anti-loosening measures include split pin and slot nut, retaining washer and round nut, retaining washer and nut, and Shenlian wire.

   (2) Increase the friction by installing a spring washer and using a double nut. This anti-loose technology allows the tightened threads to lose pressure without changing the external load, so there is always frictional resistance to prevent the connection from coming loose.

   (3) Fixing the nut to the bolt or the connected piece by means of tack welding, point rivet, etc., or fixing the screw on the connected piece to achieve the purpose of preventing loosening, the anti-loose measure is not removable.

Through the above description, we can understand that the simple removal and simple reinforcement of the hexagon socket bolts make us feel comfortable when we touch the hexagon socket bolts later, without worrying about the removal and reinforcement of the hexagon socket bolts.
